The iToBoS project was presented on the “Fet a mida” program, a daily television magazine broadcasting topics of general interest and current affairs of La Xarxa.
La Xarxa is a streaming platform that gives access to more than 30 local television channels in Catalonia, live events and a wide range of news, sports, traditions, entertainment and local radio podcasts. This digital sideboard allows the user to stay informed through local channels, and also access both live and through the catalog of unique thematic content. Promoted by the Xarxa Audiovisual Local, La Xarxa was born to position the local audiovisual in the digital ecosystem in accordance with new consumption habits.
The program interviews some researchers from the iToBoS project, including the lead resercher and coordinator of this international project, and presents how the idea of designing a novel total body scanner for the early detection of melanoma was born from a previous challenge that consisted of digital mapping of the seabed in underwater research.
