iToBoS representatives joined and participated in this event, aimed at exploring how Artificial Intelligence powered by health data sharing can transform cancer challenges into remarkable opportunities.
The agenda addressed topics such as cancer medical imaging repositories and their importance in research and clinical practice, the process, benefits and challenges of data sharing (ethical and legal considerations, cybersecurity, and privacy protection), developed services and emerging technologies and tools for cancer medical imaging data analysis and visualization and developed services and emerging technologies and tools for cancer medical imaging data analysis and, finally, visualization and success stories of cancer medical imaging in advancing cancer research and patient care.
Through different sessions of this event powered by NCISIVE, EUCAIM and the AI4HI cluster we had the opportunity to learn from leading doctors, legal and AI experts, and patient associations, and discuss the challenges and opportunities offered by information technologies (including artificial intelligence, visual recognition and machine learning tools) as well as the new solutions and services they can make available to the health sector and its stakeholders.
