iToBoS project was presented in the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) congress, held in Amsterdam this September 2024.
This is one of the most prominent annual events for clinicians and researchers working in Dermatology, and was attended by over 17,000 delegates worldwide. With over 650 speakers, across over 180 sessions, the EADV Congress provides a plethora of insightful updates on cutting edge research within the field of dermatology.
Dr Clare Primiero from The University of Queensland presented a poster which promoted the clinical research undertaken in iToBoS. The poster was titled ‘Opportunities and Challenges in Artificial Intelligence Skin Image Analyses using Total Body Photography identified in the iToBoS (Intelligent Total Body Scanner) project.’ The inclusion of this poster increased visibility of the important work iToBoS is driving, and engaged discussions with field experts, driving future collaborative connections.
Also, Dr. Malvehy delivered comprehensive presentations during the 2024 EADV Conference, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and technological advancements in skin cancer detection and, on September 26, 2024, he led an interactive workshop titled “Playing with AI in Dermatology”.
