iToBoS presented at Óbuda University’s conference

Budapest, 8/11/2023.

The iToBoS project was presented at Óbuda University’s conference.

The John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics, Óbuda University and the High-Performance Computing department of the John von Neumann Computer Society organized a conference focusing on High-Performance Computing (HPC).

Nowadays High-Performance Computing is an increasingly unavoidable concept in research, business and industry. Traditionally, this meant the use of supercomputers, which only a very few had access to, but in the last decade, it has become a basic need. In addition to multi-core and multi-processor systems, the performance of graphics cards has also increased significantly, not to mention cloud-based distributed systems.

The conference is meant to provide a platform for national researchers and industrial stakeholders to build a national community around the subject. Róbert Lovas introduced the iToBoS project to the audience, showcasing how cyber-medical applications can benefit from the latest technologies.
