On May 24, 2024, at the AEDV Congress in Madrid, Spain, Dr. J. Malvehy gave the presentation titled "Artificial intelligence: Innovations with impact on daily life in Dermatology. Cancer and ChatGPT".
In this talk, he talked about how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming dermatological practice, particularly in cancer diagnosis. Dr. Malvehy demonstrated how AI tools, such as ChatGPT, are being integrated into clinical settings to assist dermatologists, improving both the speed and accuracy of diagnoses. He has highlighted the potential of AI to improve dermatologists' daily operations and optimize patient outcomes in cancer care.
In this conference he mentioned the significant contribution that the iToBoS project will have using artificial intelligence algorithms that will take into account not only the characteristic features of pigmentary lesions but also the clinical data of the patient as well as the patient's phenotype and history.
