iToBoS representatives attended the presentation of the technological report on the Digital Health ecosystem in Catalonia, carried out by ACCIÓ (Agència per la Competitivitat de l’Empresa) with the support of Biocat. The event was held in Catalan.
The event, held online, had the objective of making known what it is, what it implies and how it can impact the day-to-day life of the different actors in digital health. The study included global data, trends, associated technologies and the Catalan ecosystem on this topic.
The event gave a good overview about the technological and business trends in IT and health. Firstly, the impact of technologies and the scope of the health sector were discussed, as well as the adaptation due to the covid-19 pandemic of diagnosis, monitoring and treatment services through different platforms. It also included a summary of the advances in artificial intelligence, big data, robotics and computing that are causing changes in the ecosystem. Next, a round table where different companies from the health sector explained their structure, their objectives, and their use case in Catalonia.
